6.LED light string installation precautions

(1) Power supply and circuit safety:

The use of 12V DC power adapter in line with the European Union CE certification (direct access to 220V AC power is strictly prohibited), the maximum load of a single LED light string does not exceed 5 meters.

(2) Waterproof treatment:

1.After cutting the LED light string, we must use the matching waterproof plug + silicone sealing sleeve to wrap the exposed copper points, and use heat-shrinkable tubing for secondary reinforcement.

2.Avoid immersing the LED light string in flowing water or strong pressure water column for a long time.

(3) LED light string cutting and splicing:

1.Cutting is only allowed at the preset copper point marking (about 16.6cm between each segment).

2.When connecting multiple sections of LED light string, use tinned copper wire soldering or special waterproof connectors.

(4) LED light string mounting and fixing method:

It is recommended to use UV weather-resistant double-sided tape (3M VHB series) or nylon cable ties to fix the LED light string, and the bending radius of the LED light string should be ≥5cm.

(5) Extreme temperature environment precautions

1.Low temperature installation (-40 ℃ ~ 0 ℃): Before installation, leave the LED light string at room temperature (≥ 10 ℃) for 1 hour, and then adjust the brightness and color after the installation after 10 minutes of power preheating.

2.High-temperature environment (>45℃): Avoid LED light string close to dark-colored heat-absorbing surfaces (e.g., asphalt, metal plate), and prohibit prolonged high-brightness operation on the surfaces of flammable materials (e.g., hay, wooden decorations).

(6) Intelligent controller use tips

1.The distance between the controller and the LED light string is ≤ 10 meters, and a signal booster should be added if it is too far away (the model should match SM16703 IC).

2.When connecting for the first time, make sure that the distance between the Bluetooth/WiFi of your cell phone and the controller is <3 meters, and close the interference of other smart devices around.
